Yep, you guys are in.  :welcome:

Glad to see that you filled that 3rd bedroom.  I was feeling a little guilty about leaving you in the lurch.

If the room had not been filled, I might have just cancelled the cabin and moved to the lodge.
But we might need the cabin for more room to cook for Saturday night?
It all worked out.  (y)

All is well  :D

Less than a month away now!

Can't wait to see all of you!

Time is ticking down!

I have gotten in contact with North Bend and scheduled our group breakfast for Sunday morning. It will be in the Lodge dining room.

She told me that they stopped doing their regular buffet in the "off season" but the chef would be happy to put something together for us. She told me she would get back to me on the time but said they should be able to have it ready by 9:30-10

Country Breakfast Buffet

Scrambled Eggs
Sausage
Bacon
Home Fries
Biscuits
Sausage Gravy
Fruit
Dry Cereal

Price: $8.95/person plus taxes and gratuity

I have also had us penciled in for a Campfire at the fire ring at the base of the hill from the cabins on Friday evening. This is pending weather of course.

It is 68 and sunny here today, and I am wearing shorts and a t-shirt, but it was 16 degrees and snowing a little over a week ago.. So we will play it by ear!

They will provide us with wood for the fire and start it for us, we are responsible for our snacks and drinks. (alcohol is allowed anywhere in the park so long as we exercise common sense)

I was thinking S'Mores and possibly hot dogs for those that do not eat on the way in!

I also reserved a set of cornhole boards and bean bags that will be delivered to our cabin Friday evening and left all weekend!

You are right on top of things.  :yourock:
Good thing too.  No breakfast buffet on Sunday would have been a bummer.

Mod question.
Has anyone attending messed with a backup camera on the 07 and up body style?
I'm  thinking about getting one but I haven't really worked on this style very much.

Also.
If there are some cornhole players I have a set that are very challenging as they are called drop boxes. Hole slope and angle are the same but the board surface is only 2' square.
And the have leds for night play

It would have been A big bummer... They did not mention that in the beginning, so I am glad she did before we showed up..

I have never dealt with the back up camera in that respect, but I am not afraid to drill a few holes if need be  >:D

Nighttime drop box play sounds like it could be very interesting.... Especially since the later it gets, the more time the beverages have to "soak in"  >:D

At least we wont be knife throwing..

I hope you all have a great time.  We'd love to join you but I'm banking all of my vacation time right now so that I can cash it in when I retire at the end of April.  Hopefully next time!

I don't blame you for banking your days!  (y)

Is it too late to attend?

Well of course not!!  >:D

I spoke with Kristi yesterday and she assured me that even though our block of rooms had expired that there were plenty available for the weekend!

If you call, mention that you are with us and they will try and place you close to our original block, if not in it!  (y)

Called yesterday, and got a room at the lodge, told her that I was with the Avalanche group, but she didn't confirm if I was in the same area as everyone else.

I can double check with her this afternoon!

I will update the attending list! See you in a couple weeks!!  (y) (y)

A few tips for Wild and Wonderful:

Personal Towels and linens: The cabins have towels and bed linens available, but if you want your own for personal comfort you might consider bringing them.

Bring a folding or deck chair: To sit outside and enjoy yourself.

If you have one bring an FRS radio in case we cruise: Set to channel 8 as always

Bring snacks and such for yourself or to share, I don't think anyone will go hungry, but they are not readily available if you decide you want something later.

Watch the weather closely: It's been up and down here lately, it could easily be 60 degrees or 16 degrees that weekend. The cabin area is heavily shaded with trees, so it will be cooler up there than the temperature displays!

Any other pearls of wisdom that I am failing to address???  ???
